SPONSORING THE PROUD OF BARNSLEY AWARDS
Henry Boot Construction is very much a part of Barnsley and they have a real affiliation with the town, with many of their people living and working there. As part of theiraim to give back to the local community, they supported the annual Proud of Barnsley Awards for the third consecutive year, an event which celebrates the incredible achievements of a whole range of people in the community.
Once again, they sponsored the Charity Fundraising Team category which was won by Sarah's Goal. The charity was launched in memory of Sarah Hanson Powell who died of breast cancer, and helps children and teenagers play football by providing kit and subs.
